Suunto factory, where Suunto compasses are made, is located in Vantaa, Finland. Here we use 100% renewable, carbon neutral energy in all our operations. This is a key factor in enabling the Suunto compass to achieve a small carbon footprint of 1.3 kg CO₂e* over its full lifespan.

100% carbon offset

We offset the lifetime CO₂e emissions of each sold Suunto compass* with Verified Carbon Units via Tree-Nation. The offset is done in a reforestation project in Southeast Africa that plants trees, protects biodiversity, and supports local communities in creating sustainable livelihoods.
