TutorialTuesdayAugust 03 2017

Do you have training data from other sports services that you want to import into Suunto Movescount? With these three third-party services you can do just that.

FitnessSyncer

FitnessSyncer synchronises your health and fitness data with more than 40 different wearables and apps. This means you can seamlessly transfer your health and fitness data from other apps, trackers and devices to Suunto Movescount.

To use FitnessSyncer for the first time, open an account at fitnessyncer.com. On the account page, specify a data source and add Suunto Movescount as the destination in the account settings.

RunGap

RunGap is a workout data manager for iOS. It retrieves your entire workout history from popular services such as Suunto Movescount, Garmin Connect, Endomondo, RunKeeper, Strava, Runtastic, Polar, Adidas, Magellan, Nike+ and many others on your iPhone or iPad so you can access it at any time.

The great thing about RunGap is that it can also synchronise all this data with Suunto Movescount. Detailed instructions on how to use Movescount with RunGap can be found here

MX Activity Mover

With the MX Activity Mover you can transfer training logs from Garmin Connect or Polar Personaltrainer directly to Suunto Movescount. The data can be transferred directly as individual activities by ID (Garmin and Polar) or uploaded as a file (Garmin). If you purchase the full version of MX Activity Mover, you can upload multiple activities at the same time. You can select a time range for the transfer (from/to) of the activities.

Another handy feature of MX Activity Mover is that you can include a link to the original activity in Garmin Connect or Polar Personal Trainer in the description field of the transferred move.
